Timothy M. Rowan has a passion for horticulture. His journey started in a greenhouse that his father built for him in his earlier childhood. Throughout high school Tim wrestled and was offered a wrestling scholarship from the University of MD. It is here that he wrestled and received a horticulture degree. He started off as a horticulture teacher in Montgomery County, MD and also ran a small landscape business on the side. This is where Rowan Landscape Company was born. Tim soon stopped teaching to put all of his time into the company. Throughout the years Rowan has grown into a pool company as well. He has been building pools for over 35 years now. We build a beautiful pool and are known for our natural pools and waterfalls. Tim designs and installs complete outdoor living spaces that can include anything that your heart desires. He artfully designs every project that Rowan installs making each unique.
Beth Rowan offers a 3 dimensional design of your project. This is an excellent option for you to consider if you would like a visual presentation of the design of your yard. With this program you can actually walk through your yard, dive into your pool, and see your yard at night. You will be able to see what your yard will look like before any work is done. This is an amazing program and you should consider taking advantage of it!
Our office is run by Kari Whitehead (Tim’s daughter). She will be available to help you with any questions or requests that you may have concerning your project.
Randy Whitehead (Tim’s son in law) is the project supervisor and has been working in our business for over 16 years. He will work directly with you on the installation of your swimming pool, spa, landscaping, lighting, stonework, etc. – all aspects of the job.
